With footage going viral not only locally but nationally and globally of yesterday’s historic call to prayer (Adhaan) in Waltham Forest from a number of mosques in the borough, Irfan Akhtar (Media spokesperson and trustee of Waltham Forest Islamic Association – Lea Bridge Road Mosque) explains why this initiative was created.
